Free Company Promotion ranking

I've formed a Free Company and formed Ranks as follows

01 - Master Gen
02 - General
03 - Lieutenant Gen
04 - Major Gen
05 - Brigadier Gen
06 - Colonel
07 - Major
08 - Captain
09 - Sergeant
10 - Corporal
11 - Private

If I give the right for Colonel to promote. That rank can promote above and promote one to the top rank.

Why is that? One shouldn't be able to promote another to the same level he or she is at, let alone over him/her.

Example:
06 has right to promote. 06 promotes Jane to 01. thus giving that personal total access.

You shouldn't be able to promote to the same level as your own let alone above yourself.

Please Fix this. I would like to give higher ranking Officers the ability to do there job in the Free Company.

ive done the military leadership thing in a MMO before, it always ends up bad

turn back while you still can

you and your immediate command circle should be the only ones handing out promotions

lol, I very well couldn't type in General of the Army in a restricted 15 character text box. That worked. lmao.

Private first class? They only allow 15 and if I put in all real ranks it would take 25+-

You're only limited to what you can put. Unfortunately!

As someone who has ran a guild I have to agree this is a really, really bad idea. However, you are posting in the wrong section as this isn't a technical issue. Go throw it up in the quality of life thread, or related section of the forums .
