I was wondering, if this was addressed before or not, but shouldn't be there a main city for us to look for parties and members, like if I wanna look for a group to kill Garuda for example, I'd go there to search, so why not we decide on a city for that? I'd say Ul'dah, although I'm from LL and with Storm GC, I think Ul'dah would be a good city for that, what do you guys think?
Why not just use the Duty Finder or your FC? I'm not really sure why you would need to go to one spot to recruit members for a group.
Well basically, Duty Finder as SE said still has some problems, also most of the time like just now, it ends up sometimes with bad composition and so, and other problems I'm sure people are aware about, and I know for a fact there are people who would like to pick their members, also, I've seen lots of people shouting for groups in different areas, if someone wanted that but in another area, so having a place to look for shouts or members, would actually help, don't you think so? not to forget FC recruiting shouts. You could get your self a fixed group for example for relic quest, that would be great to have actually.
From my experience, it seems like Camp Dragonhead is becoming that hub.
Every time I go there if I want to see what anyone in LS or FC chat is saying I have to turn off shouts because everyone and their mothers are shouting for groups.
Instead of a City I think the more simplistic solution would be to make like a "Primal Fight LS" or something of the sort, I know I saw one person advertising a LF LS earlier when the game came out.
As with most MMOs, people will gradually concentrate in certain areas and that area will become the main hub. No one has to decide it. It just happens. So far, it seems like Camp Dragonhead or Revenant's Toll is becoming the areas for people at end game.
