Really enjoyed my arcanist so far. Swapped to Theuma whatever mage, and I cant stand it lol. Just trying to force myself to level 15 for summoner.

Funny. I'm not having too much fun with DoT for life ACN. I don't even wanna be it to be a WHM lol.
I've had a lot of fun with both THM and ACH! I love DoT's and pets, so Arcanist fit's that perfectly, but I love the sheer power and AoE potential of THM. I will, eventually, go WHM (although I plan on my first 50 to be SMN), and Black mage possibly sometime since it'll be unlocked....
either way, i'm having a lot of fun with the mage classes, too!
I think OP it's just down to personal preference more than anything else. ARC is quite DoT heavy and it is quite fun, I've only just started levelling THM and it feels interesting (lvl 4 atm lol).
But it's probably just down to what you like best, too bad for SMN you need levels in THM :(.
