Maintenance work - Will I need to re-roll on a new server?

Hi SE,

Following the maintenance work will the upgraded server capacity be sufficient to accommodate existing characters or will players have to re roll new characters on the new servers to play?

It's not clear if the new servers are intended for people who are just joining the game and are making their first character or if it's expected that players who already have characters will have to re-roll as well to spread the load across the available servers.

I'm only level 16 on my Gladiator so it wouldn't be too much of a pain to re roll but my friend who I play with is higher and may not be happy about having to start over.

If it turns out to be necessary for players to move server server in order to play will free server transfers be offered?
