Tone down the action effects

I get really annoyed by the amount of light and sound effects that come with every action/attack. Sometimes I can't even see the mob I'm hitting when I'm in a party.

You can do this yourself in the character configuration menu. Its possible to turn yours, others ect effects down or off.

I do admit they are a little distracting, at least in FATEs and occasionally in dungeons.
On the PC version you can turn down your graphics settings to remove some of the effects, and maybe more options for fine tuning which effects would be nice.
On PS3 I don't believe there is any option, but it would be nice to have since it may help with the frame rate (wink wink developers).

All in all more options for turning down the effects would be nice :)

This ^. I have "Others" set to "Minimal" currently, but I think I'll turn it to "Off" soon. I'm on PS3, btw.
