Comcast Woes!

I was able to log on last night and I get the joy of actually being able to play from being away and with family. So Having fun and leveling my class I then get 90000 cause ofcourse comcast booted me and its cause of maintenance. So now I'm stuck getting 1017. Just bugs me cause I mean the game is going down in 5 hours and 30 minutes. Whats funny is comcast says they send notices yet I never get a single one. >_> Hopefully after the major update no more 1017.

you're in the same boat as the rest of us. Last time I logged in was friday. I was trying to spend a few moments learning some of the text commands because I have yet to find a comprehensive list (remember how FFXI manual had them all?). I decided to submit a support question suggesting they make the commands easier to learn. much to my chagrin, my PS3 hard-locked. been 1017 every try since then.

I've waited this long. I'll wait until tomorrow morning in hopes the issues have been properly addressed.

Log into your Comcast account and have all messages sent to your phone via text. You will get the messages then just as I do and thousands of others. :)

Everyone seems to have constant complaints about Comcast.. this is like... a really bad company for internet lol.. I haven't seen one positive thing about them on any MMO I've played.

Unfortunately, Comcast is just about everyone's ISP considering they own most of the backbones and fiber in the US. Its almost guaranteed they somehow provide you with your service. Hell, they own most everything that has to do with TV and movies and now it looks like they are getting into mobile tech. Run but you cant hide, lol.

Am I the only one who has never had issues with Comcast or is it because I've chewed them out more then enough times that they're afraid of me that they give me great service? :\

Nope your not the only one. Ive never had issues with them in 12 years of using their service. Then again, each system or region operates differently, so that can be a huge reason. I think they are great, and love the service they provide. And when compared to the telcos in my area, they flat out kick their assess. ;)

The one constant thing about Comcast is the low bandwidth and overpriced service, you can count on being overcharged and having to call their support once every six months at least.

Well i guess if we lived in a perfect world we wouldnt have to do that and we would be playing the game right now with no issues. Oh well.
