What do I do with old, not spirit bound gear?

Is there any use for all the old gear I have that I will not use again, and is not fully spirit bound?

Sell or give it to a lower level in your FC =)

I usually keep some of my low lvl gear in case i can use it on other classes that I want to level up.

If it's character bound like pink/green, you can trade them in to your GC for seals. If it's crafted gears, your best bet is to go do FATE with it. Spirit binding is pretty quick in FATE with lots of mobs. Just make sure you're in a party so you get credits for more.

wear it to get Spirit bound then convert it to materia, but that's just personal opinion :)

Assuming it's at least partilly bound you can't do that, can't you? Or at least it will be useless to whoever go it anyway ...

I've been keeping the best gear for when I level other classes. The rest I'll get to fully spirit bound and turn into Materia

I'm going to assume you mean gear you have already worn, but didn't complete the spiritbind to 100% on it.

I think the best option would just be to hold onto it and save it to level with another class. Personally I plan on saving as much gear as I possibly can for each level tier so I don't have to buy it again. As I grow out of it (all appropriate classes at level 5, 8, 10, etc.) that's when I'll convert it to materia.

For class specific gear like weapons, I've went back and equipped said weapon and did a dungeon that was level appropriate for the weapon just to finish off the spiritbond.
