Raise Delay
Am I the only person whose biggest pet peeve in this game is the delay between someone accepting a Raise and being able to heal them?
Nothing better than someone accepting a Raise and a boss casting an AE that can still hit them, however they can't receive any healing.

Couldn't agree more.
It's a Final Fantasy game. I get it that animations and the "look" of things is important, but it can't be at the expense of gameplay. Besides, if I spent a chunk of mana and 8 seconds out of commission (WITH the possibility of getting interrupted) - I shouldn't have to spend another 8 waiting for them to be eligible to even receive healing.

If you're raising during battle, you missed the boat on the fight as it is...
It should be difficult to get a member up MID-fight. If we could spam Raise during encounters and keep throwing bodies at raid mechanics that we are failing this game would not be a challenge.
That being said, be thankful you have a battle rez at all, and in this game it's not on a cool-down as in WoW (mana permitting).

You get a stat debuff for being rez'ed in and out of battle anyways that makes multiple raising detrimental, there's a delay for most skills but it would be nice that you could heal them during the animation.

It's reasonable to have detriments to battle rezzing which make it difficult to use and increasingly less helpful.
I take issue with what I perceive as the interface, itself, being deceptive. In my mind, once the interface shows a HP bar for an ally, that ally should be able to receive healing rather than a few seconds after which are not indicated in any way. That's what bothers me: the fact that the bar is there and they can't receive heals.
