How do you confirm that you compeleted a dungeon

I was doing AURUM VALE and when we defeated the boss I was killed too. The whm tried to raise me, but it was not working. I got the message that we compeleted the dungeon and defeated the boss and I got a loot too. But I could not use the exit since raise was not working. The only way for me to leave the dungeon was to abandon the quest through the duty finder. Does this mean I have to redo the dungeon?
Also does compel sting AURUM Vale unlock another dungeon, if yes then which one and how?
