Rant Post
So I'm just looking to rant in a place I feel might be relevant, because I'm getting pretty damn frustrated. Pay no heed to it and just let the post die.
So how is it that such a good game can't at least be playable? Defiance was the worst money I spent this year and even that game was almost always -playable-. How is it that I can't currently connect to the JP worlds and can't make a character on the NA/EU worlds? That's keeping me from playing at all. Only reason I was on the JP worlds was because it was actually possible to make a character on them on day 1. I really don't want to spend half my damn day off just trying to play the game. Is this game worth even continuing to play or worry about? Maybe I should just leave it and come back in a year or so? Bleh
Well, I feel better. Move along

1) It's such a good game everyone wants to play it.
2) Given that it's the worst money you spent, it's probably a sucky game so no one wants to play it hence no server issues.
3) JP servers are overloaded too.
4) Don't spend half the day, go do something else. Come back.
5) I like playing it so much I bought another damn copy of the game cause they decide they want to spend almost a week not answering my ticket and fixing my problem.
6) Why worry...you'll get wrinkles.
7) Come back in a year then. But there is a maintenance tonight that's supposed to alleviate some of the problems. #readthenews

I would be so happy if they actually fix any of the problems tonight. They need to address the capacity issues and they need to do something about the AFK'ers who are causing at least part of the login/capacity issues.
I'll happily create a brand new character on a different server just to have the chance of being able to play regularly, so far I've manged approximately 6 hours of play time total out of 10 days.
If the maintenance still fails to address the problems then I'm done, I'll suck up the cash I lost and go play something that is actually available, I hear Diablo 3 is coming out for PS3 soon.

Tomorrow will be the day of days, if not.
Think I'll wait a few weeks.
