I'm still a little confused as to what exactly is taking place. They're adding new servers/worlds, but how does the help the ones already made? Are the force shifting people? Are there numbers yet as to how many servers are being added for the NA/EU regions? SO MANY QUESTIONS!!! D:

It would be nice if this does fix something and make the game playable again. Although for me it has been ok because I can't really play much since launch anyway because my HDD crapped out the day before early access and I had to send it in for a replacement which i'm still waiting for, and should be here around weds or thurs. My wife's laptop can only run the game around 15fps on all settings low/off lol so all i do is mine/craft (hah minecraft) It is still frustrating never being able to log in 'cept for maybe 6am. Heres to hoping!

The theory is that the instance server can only handle so many concurrent instances. Therefor, SE is limiting the number of overall players based on that server's capacity. They will increase capacity on instance servers by dividing up the worlds served and adding a new block of instance servers. However, Yoshida has admitted that the individual servers can only handle a certain number of concurrent players. So, either they will relieve the heavily capped servers and everyone will play happy or new servers will run flawless and heavily populated servers will still experience 1017 during peak hours.

The worlds are veiled in

the hopes and dreams of ppl.. 1017 will be a thing of the past right?

It would be nice to get home from work, log in, and get on my character immediately. Or even get into a queue for 30 minutes while I walk my dog and feed her.

They are adjusting the load balancing for all servers!
