Mission cleared without doing it

I was in the mission Notorious Biggs with my Chocobo Companion out.
I walked inside dark round area that contained Biggs and imperials and I got a system message saying I'd have to fight alone.
I unsummoned my chocobo, and being inside the instance, I targeted the mound of snow, clicked on it, and the battle was counted as beaten even though I never actually got to fight it.


If it'd be possible to reflag on my char (Majidah Sihaam, Balmung), that'd be great. If not, so be it.

Same thing happened to me, except I left a party I was in. I sent in a bug report, but continued on with the story anyhow since I was eager to catch up to my friends I'm a bit behind. I tried to see if there was an "Abandon" option so I could restart, but no luck. I wanted to do the Duty though, they're fun :/. I also feel like I cheated the game which is never a good feeling.

Felt 100% the same. Even tried to abandon duty to no avail.
