False Suspend !

So you CAN NOT long onto ANY OTHER PC or you get insta suspend. Have to contact support and that is really anoying because they never help much.... so every time you log onto a new PC you have to reset your SE password... lame if you ask me

I don't know what you're talking about. I switch between mine and my husband's computer just fine.

I switch between my lap top to desktop off and on often and not had this happen....maybe I just got lucky



* just as a side edit; I was on a different I.P as my lap top was at work and at a friends house , while my desk top was at my home

I think he is saying if you logon from a different IP address than the one you previously played on or registered on.

Also not true, I had my cousin on another IP log on to my account to get my character out of a broken instance where I was 90k while teleporting. He was on a diff IP and i did not receive what OP is talking about. (though i still changed my password)

every-time you log into SE account of FFXIV from a new IP address, SE forces you to reset your password because the system thinks your account is being hacked... I called them before about it and a rep told me its just one of their newer preventative methods to protect players and their accounts/information.
