Unable to complete version check (30605, 10009, 19900, 12029)

I was playing, game crashed then, when trying to start the launcher, I get this error:

Unable to complete version check (30605, 10009, 19900, 12029).

What's up!?

Ive been having this error come up since yesterday, I just started a thread about it, but so far nothing has worked... let me know if you find a way to get it working :)

This that I have been recommended to try are: turning of firewall through your antivirus as well as your actual computer settings; uninstall the game, delete all folders related to it and caches and then re-install; un-install and re-install the digital version; turn off background programs. And thats all I can remember trying at the moment, but try them, because they might work for you :)

Well I went into my System32 folder and found a ton of crap that was modified today. I also found my firewall and anti virus was disabled. I deleted everything in the system folder from today and then everything started to work again.

what folders did you remove?

No folders, just every file in the System 32 folder that had been modified yesterday.
