Invitation only on the full servers

When you add new servers i think it would be wise to have a system in place on the current full servers so that any players wanting to join up on these servers like Moogle for example would have to get an invite from someone already on that server. Be it from a guildy or a friend. This is to allow guilds that formed pre-launch to get all their players and friends to be with friends.

new players however should only be permitted to create characters on the new servers.

Players will always try to flock to the most packed servers this is guaranteed, dont let it happen.

Opening up transfers be them paid or free wouldnt hurt either

+1. I didnt even think of this and its a great idea. Easily exploited if you REALLY want on that server but as of now, most people are just making characters everywhere waiting for a chance to join their friends.

All I would have to do is ask anyone on that server on the forums (any chat really) for a invite. Granted, not many people will try that hard to get on a random server if they have no friends there.

Final Fantasy 11 had that actually. Where you had to purchase a World Pass so people were able to create a character on your server specifically.

I would love this. Let us buy a world pass to get our friends on our server.

I would like to see this as well. I have a friend who doesn't want to play simply because he's afraid he won't be able to get onto our server. Even if the world pass had a cost, I'd pay it to get him on there. It's just a shame this wasn't brought up within the company.

Great idea, I'd love to see this implemented. Even if some people might give invites to people they don't really know, this is still a better alternative than completely locking up character creation or just letting everyone create characters on overpopulated servers.
