It doesn't have to be 30 minutes, but if someone goes to bed or work, they shouldn't still be in the damn game when they get back.
I'd be fine with a 3 hour time out. Everyone is staying logged in right now because it's the only way to play the game. Even if they increased server capacity, if people continue to do this it will ALWAYS be full. You NEED an idle time out.
I agree, they could of fixed this problem a long time ago,maintance all day which would of implemented an afk timer,but they're not going to add one until they add more servers (which will solve nothing). SE if you expand server capacities that will cause more problems,there would be more Gil sellers an AFK people.
They can't even get what they've already implemented to work right. You want something else put in so it can have a brand shiny new error number attached to it when it randomly boots everyone and their close, distant, and everywhere-in-between relatives out of the game for no good reason?
The AFKers are a symptom of a very large problem. Fix the problem and the AFKers are no longer part of said problem. Hell I'd rather have people AFK all over the place taking up valuable playing spots than RMTers doing the same. An AFK timer is pretty far down the list of what's important IMO.
