stucked during gathering

Hi, i normally use a gamepad to play and sometimes when i was gathering, i accidently hit the menu button which cause the gathering window to be closed. Instead of making my char to finish gathering, my character were stucked with gathering stance and unable to do anything. I tried to open gathering log, pressing hot keys, return, teleport, etc but nothing work except i have to close my ffxiv. Just wondering if this bug or there is a button to open the gathering window again. Thanks.
