if by some miracle i manage to create a new character on a NA server I just get 1017 errors. Its been like this for a week almost.. Now its even worse as soon as i click start I get the 1017 error before even attempting to log in
Anyways my 30 days are getting used up for nothing.. when can i finally start playing?

You can't play because you paid good money for the game. Sorry about that. If it helps pretty much everyone is in the same boat. We foolishly bought into FF XIV being a playable video game, and got duped into buying an overpopulation simulator. I haven't heard of such a horrendous bait-and-switch since Brutal Legend advertised itself as an action game when it was really an RTS.....

Luckily we are supposed to be compensated for time lost... meaning by extending the free play time... but that doesn't really seem to compensate me for the time I've sat here hours on end in some cases mashing a ps3 x button trying to log in...

09-03-2013, 04:15 AMbaddaggeryah it does suck the time wasted but if were atleast getting compensated for the lost tiem then atleast we did not lose our money that we paid for and get to start from scratch time wise.. so I will look at this last week or two as a really bad beta launch..
