Suggestion: A moon phase indicator

Not sure if this is the correct place for game suggestions, but I've noticed the moon that shows up at night several times, and can definitely tell that there is different phases of the moon.
I don't know if they currently play a role in anything in the game yet, but is there any plans on implementing a moon phase indicator?

Something like that could either be placed near, or on the opposite side of where the weather icon is on the minimap, or to avoid clutter, could just simply make it to where clicking on the weather icon would toggle it between weather and moon phase.
