2 days and unable to play

On Saturday, August 31, I was able to log in after 45 minutes of spamming from the character selection screen. I was able to play for about 6 hours without being disconnected. Then the 90000 boss got me and I could not reconnect, although I tried for almost an hour afterward.

On Sunday, September 1, I spent the better part of 6 hours trying to log into the game. I replaced my network router with a newer, faster, better router. I reset and reboot my computer. I reset my cable modem. And after trying these things out in various orders, I still was unable to connect. I gave up about 5:30 PM EDT.

Today is Monday, September 2. I have been trying since 8:30 AM EDT to get into the game, and you will see the post time of this message is close to 12:00PM EDT. I have been trying off and on for almost three hours and still have not been able to log into Adamantoise. I enjoy playing the game when I can get in, but spending two fruitless days unable to play my toon is getting to be unbearable. Either I cannot find the NA/EU group server listing or I get hit with the 1017 boss, or, and this one is most annoying, I get the "This World is currently full. Please wait until an opening is available and try again." message before the Character Selection screen even pops up.

How much more of this crap am I supposed to tolerate before I am to decide that SE and FFXIV is no longer worth my time?

Come on Square Enix, get off your asses and get this stupid crap fixed so those of us who want to play can. I know I am not the only one to post this type of message, and I will not be the last. That does not mean you should ignore any of it. But it seems to me that your incompetence is putting stress on a lot of people unnecessarily. Players play these games to have fun, but it is not, and has not, been fun trying to log in hour after hour, I mean cumulatively, to try to play this game and pray some bug while in game does not make one the victim of a 90000 boss. Each time I was able to get in to the game, I have been required to continuously attempt to log in for 30 minutes or more.

If you were the gamer trying to do this, would you find that satisfactory. I hear that the players at PAX had no difficulty getting in or staying in. Must have been nice for them. How should a paying customer feel about that kind of treatment?

I really hope you square away all these problems and make restitution to those of us who have tried to help make your game successful, but have been treated as just another nameless group whose monies you want to gather for your own enrichment.

Just a couple more things to add. I uninstalled and reinstalled the game to see if that would fix the problems.
