se seems to be falling back into its habit of not telling people whats going on

i have noticed especially with the announcement of grand companies that se is seeming to get back into their habit of telling us what exactly is going on. I can understand and appreciate a lore like section on grand companies and their back story in terms to the game would however there is nothing suggesting how exactly this effects the players. everything just directs us to a page which basically tells us absolutely nothing as to how this will effect the gaming experience in ffxiv. please keep the features and patch notes separate from the lore and i think you might see a better response from your community because most of us dont like to be kept in the dark or given lore jargon

Well, IMO its better slower, but complete info than have constant partial info.

Partial info brings more problems than benefits, because they often isn't said as partial so ends like aggro icon...it was part of something bigger, but the way it was shown made playerbase to treat it like if only the aggro icon was a complete feature, resulting into a forum uproar.

I do prefer they holding info until they got enough stuff to offer players a complete idea of upcomming changes/features.

Unfortunately, we must give them room to surprise us a little. I'm counting on it :)
