this has happened so many times..
when usen a keyboard with the ps3 it get stuck in chat .
doesnt matter what keys or pad bottons on the controller i push it will not release from chat.
the only option is to leave the game by force exit., and then of coarse i cant get back in because you are cheap about fixing the problem before the holiday.
now something else you need to fix/ ignore..!!!!!
