Issue with rested experience?

I don't know if this is functioning as intended or not, but the experience point values of rested experience are tremendously different based on the level of the job for which you are using it.

I was planning on using my rested experience for leveling crafting jobs, but I noticed this morning that the length of the rested experience bar doesn't change when you change jobs. My Level 36 bard has about an inch of rested experience, and so does my level 13 weaver. If I use up that rested experience on my weaver, it's worth less EXP overall than if I use it on my bard.

Is this intentional? I made the picture below with my bard and my thaumaturge to show the discrepancy in total exp value.

Working as intended, we appreciate your understanding.

It seems logical to be designed as a % based system as opposed to a flat XP per hour gained system. If it was purely XP based, you could log off with a high level class, gain 100k rested XP (arbitrary high number I picked), and then have a rested XP bonus on your lower level class for several levels.
