I'm not a falafel

I'm a Lalafell.


I like to talk with other people
and drink with them--
and then I realise how short I am

So small

so little


I can barely see over the counters in the Adventurer's Guilds anywhere

and I have to ride baby chocobos because I can't get on the adult ones

people mistake me as being much, much younger

it's like everyone's teasing me

some of my friends have trouble finding me even when I'm right in front of them

and monsters seem to mistake me for a falafel and try to eat me
I'm not a deep-fried fava beans ball!
