An hour of error 1017

Well this is a shame that i paid money for this product with no help from SE. I wanted to play this game with my friends but one one of us seem to get on at a time. I am going to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. You have know about this issue since phase 4 and have not found a fix, even with all the ideas your customers have given you. How long must a paying customer wait to receive a finished product? Wait didn't we wait years with promises that this was going to to better. You got me SE you hyped it up got popular youtube personalities to back your product so now they look bad.

I've hit 1017 errors all day now since 8am. It's now 9:40pm and I still can't get in. Part of me is annoyed at SE and another part annoyed at those in game who won't log out :/

I will if I could ever get in game.

OK, so we will do a 24 man 1017.

Don't bother I've battled 1017 for hours, killed him many times.. day after day... and still no loot... the best I saw was a white sword... guess that's something.

It is of no use, whenever I do get in I get kicked out again after a few hours anyway.
And then the 2002's and 1017's start all over again. It's ridiculous!!!

I posted this earlier, here is what a longer battle with 1017 looks like:

I wanted to pass along some statistics.

Started at 3:45pm, current time 4:45am
13 hours of attempted logged ins.
8,801 attempted log ins
7 times places in que
7 times in que given 1017 error after being in que


I don't blame people for staying logged on because it is a decision they have made and honestly I can't say I wouldn't have done the same. My issue is with Square Enix for allowing it to happen and forcing people to do this to stay in game. You have taken a potentially wonderful experience for many people and destroyed it. What is sad IMO is the reaction given by customer support. They don't seem to care or show any sympathy. I know their job isn't fun now, but your reaction goes along way and is what we see.

To be fair, perhaps shutdown the game and put in a system that eliminates the AFK players. Some people have been logged in for almost a week. They go to work for 10 hours, sleep for 8 hours and play for 6 hours. 18 of 24 hours are AFK. How can you allow this to happen????????

too many players, they over sold the game, also by allowing the CE players from version 1 to come back for free for a month was a big mistake as well. Too many ppl want to play it and not enough servers or server capacity to deal with it. There isn't even a que for any server. Some of us cant get on the JP servers it's so bad. I was gonna subscribe to maybe fix the 1017 problem but I decided to let a sleeping dog lie. Games not worth, no matter have good it seems to play. I got a ton up to 41, want to go farther but 3 days of 1017s straight, time to forget about it.
