I myself am not high enough to have to worry about finding Grade 6 areas, however our official LS miner has hit R40 and has the ability "Lay of the Land V" and has read that "Lay of the Land VI" is received at R48. I have read other posts on other sites suggesting that there are no Grade 6 nodes at this time.
Here is my question: Do you actually get "Lay of the Land VI" at R48, and if so, why is there an ability to find nodes that don't exist??
Currently there is no lay of the land VI. I reached 48 and did not receive the ability like previous lay of the lands.
Yup. No grade 6 or associated abilities. Their existance is programmed into the coding, but that's just so Squeenix has it easier when the level cap goes up and we get grade six access.
There are no miner abilities above rank 38 so, technically, there is no need to grind miner above that level unless you specifically want to cap the class rank and use that to easily mine the good stuff.
