Joining Party in Progress Experience

I spent half my playtime today joining the first four dungeons as a tank with the Join Party in Progress option ticked. Most of the time I queued instantly, but more than half the time I was thrown into a dungeon with 2 damage dealers who were either AFK or standing around waiting for a healer to join midway. I did stick around and chat with a couple groups, but not once did a healer join.

The feature is neat, the few times I was able to join a full light party and help them continue on and beat the dungeon were great. However most of the time I'd have to explain how the party in progress feature works (or doesn't) and that they'd likely have an easier time re-queueing. After a while this gets tiring, and makes me feel like a jerk for bailing on the poor saps waiting.

I think the feature should only ready you when a full light party can be formed. I feel this would benefit everyone using the duty finder and encourage more people to help groups that have lost members.

Alternatively, let us view the party setup and/or timer remaining on the dungeon prior to entering. On a couple occasions I was thrown in to a dungeon with a minute or less remaining, one of those where a duo was trying to defeat the boss and I was locked out of the area. That doesn't help anyone and creates a small potential for stolen loot, or unearned progress.

Yes they should have a see PT/Time feature for sure. Cause when you get a party with no healer+tank your pretty much screwed(Unless more tanks/healers start using "Join in progress" too).
Even worse is when there is a stubborn person where they insist that looking for members solo is more effective then requeing since they had to wait 30min's+, so you leave and join another "Join in Progress" que and get the same persons party over and over...

"Join party in progress" should ONLY announce succesful matching if it makes the party complete again. So if 2 slots are missing, wait till both are found before announcing.

Join party in progress = join failing party.

More than once I've been Que'd into dungeons with under 10 minutes left that never got deleted because it keeps adding new people. So annoying to wait 40 mins for a que on ACN just to go back to the end of the line.

Tank here, I always tick Party in Progress whenever I've done a full run of a dungeon, since all the good loot is on the later bosses and I'm not an ass.

they should remove the box to for party in progress and just notify you there is a party in progress with that time left wanna join or continue queue no need to tick that box anymore and some ppl don't even notice that box at all :D

First time in dungeon I always start fresh. Anytime after that ill click the box.

Until they fix it so that its not almost useless I wont go anywhere near it. I do not want to join a group that has only ten minutes to complete 3/4 of a dungeon or join and then wait thirty minutes for a healer. If they told you the time remaining and waited until it had a full group to send you the notice then I would use it.
