I don't think SE gets it. The new worlds are not going to help currently congested servers. People want to be able to play with people they KNOW. That's the point of an MMO. I'm not going to switch worlds when all my friends are still on the current one. People won't want to reroll.
The only thing that will help these congested worlds is implementing an afk booting system. I don't understand why SE is so resistant to implement such a system.
Servers =/= world instances.
I'd rather move than continue getting login errors. My entire free company has agreed to as many members couldn't get in to our server.
Plus they can start selling the game again.
Start selling the game and friends tell their friends to join their super populated server and it will get even worse, smart plan .. oh wait
Seriously I don't think it's a server issue at all. SE just doesn't want and lets face it at this point can't take the blame. So they're blaming data centers people cant see or touch. I think its a software issue, if when this is all fixed they have to release a patch then it was in fact a software issue. But regardless if this takes to Thursday to fix and make playable I'm demanding a refund for my CE and calling it quits. Chances are good that this will happen again and you can expect the same level of communication on SE part.
We've also got transfers coming in a week or so, so even if it's just new worlds, the population will be able to spread out a bit.
To be honest, I'd move when my Free Company decides to move too.Getting tired of login restriction already.
