As I sat her for the 5th day in a row getting less than 30 minutes of game time, I decided to get up and start cleaning the house, make lunch, play with the dog, and watch some Netlfix. I am a tad upset at all the stinking problems going on but I realize that there was no way for SE to know the incredible amount of fans out there who were waiting to play FFXIV. I'm having the same 9000, 2002, 1017, etc. problems. Yes, I believe any company who has been around since the mid to late 80's should have known their fan base has only grown exponentially over the years and maybe done a survey along with the beta. Everyone needs to chill out and let them get the bugs out of the way for the first week or two and then it'll be smooth sailing. Same thing happened with FFXI and look at how many people play now! Have faith that SE will compensate each and every one of us for our time. They are as loyal to us as we are to them. Any questions? No trolls please.

I agree. I am also new to SE MMOs. The two things that bother me are knowing the "Queue" system is not functioning correctly, or it is and implemented poorly. Getting kicked from the game while 36th in the queue is annoying. All the while, servers may well be full due to people never logging out as a means to skip the log-in issues. The second part that confuses me is how the game says cant load NA/EU servers. Yet, looking at the status page shows them green and online. How can they be green/online and yet the servers cant be retrieved when trying to select your character and log-in? Just my thoughts. To end on a positive note, this is a great game. i look forward to playing with my friends when the issues are resolved. :D

It's not about having higher standards of quality, it's about being patient. Unless you can give me more information than I know about how servers work (seeing as that's my job). We never said it's not expected for people to get stressed but everyone needs to understand that with EVERY MMO, there will be problems at first. People shouldn't get so pissed at a game. Wait it out, go play Black Ops II or Minecraft. Go to Denny's or Ihop. idc, lol.Quote:
