Hi. I am wondering what an option does. In the Character Configuration -> Character Settings -> Effects While in Motion. Screenshot of it below.

It seems to do nothing from what I can tell.
Also, on a side note, anyone know if there is a source for configuration options in general? I feel that a lot of game problems I am having could be fixed if I knew how to change it.
