Problems running FFxiv with bullguard

So bought the game yesterday happy to try it and then it wouldnt update the launcher, found out later that it was Bullguard antivirus that stopped it from updating, and the sites i looked at suggested that i disable bullguard completely, but after trying myself and not feeling very protected i foun out you only need to disable the antivirus itself and not the firewall or spamfilter. Dunno if it will help anyone but its hard to post on this forum when you cant even start the game even once ^^

I know its not the safest option but it beats, disabling the whole thing
