Emergency maintenance?

We just got a message to log out due to an emergency maintenance on Sargatanas. I can't seem to find any info about it on the Lodestone, nor the game client. Anyone know how long it will be?

Last time that message was displayed it was a false alarm.

My partner just got that same message on Cerberus, but we can't find any other info on it. :-/

Don't tell me I logged off for nothing after having tried to log in for hours...

same thing happened to me, I logged out, but then again I had been on it for about 5+ hours... ^-^ so yeah I was done for the day anyways... :-P

So I just got booted :(

My FC said that it was emergency maintenance for the JP servers. And lo and behold the JP servers are up and running just fine and the NA/EU servers cannot be accessed! :D

Got the same message on Odin, but the server is still up.

Sometimes emergency maintenance applies only to a server (i.e. a subset of zones within a world), so the whole world doesn't actually go offline.

Also, "emergency" usually means it wasn't decided in committee, sent as a memo to other departments, and then scheduled for posting on the noticeboard with plenty of advance notice. ;) :p
