Can't log in. (PS3)

Today for about ten minutes, the log in for square enix would not show up. afterwards, the start button would not show up and I had to click one of the links to finally get it up. Shortly after logging in, I'd get the 2002 error message saying I got disconnected from the lobby server. Restarting the game and my playstation did not solve the problem. I did finally get to the character selection screen, but still couldn't play due to the log in restriction which has already been addressed.
