How to not sound like a broken record!
There are so many threads that all talk about the same issues, because people don't take the time to actively search for them and just jump in with making new ones. Such is the way of forums, yes, but before you post, it'd be wise to assume that what you're about to rant on may have already been discussed at length here (if it's a common complaint).
Topics you should avoid creating new threads about:
1) Full servers/can't log in/lobby-list errors. If you honestly can't find these topics, you must be jumping to the "Post New Thread" button before even looking. We know...you can't get in. Thousands of us can't.
2) Compensation for loss of playtime petitions. Not only have there been a ton of these threads, but it's just annoying entitlement banter. Us players are entitled to nothing. Our options are simple: accept the game as it is and wait it out, or get your money back and unsubscribe. Which leads into...
3) Threats to unsubscribe. Yes, you're upset, and you *really* want the developers to know just how much. So you make a thread demanding that if your issues aren't addressed, they can say goodbye to your money. I'm not so cynical that I'd say "Well, SquareEnix doesn't care about you and your threats, go ahead and unsubscribe," but if you feel the way they're handling things isn't up to your personal standards, then by all means go ahead. Less server congestion! But honestly, I don't believe you're all that serious anyway.
4) Demands for a login queue. Reasons are pretty much covered in #1. Not against the idea, but stop creating threads about it.
5) Kicking AFK people. The developers have already commented on this, there's nothing more to be gained by prolonging the argument with new threads.
I'd also add threads that seek to bash individual players (such things should be handled off the forums), but thankfully those haven't been too prevalent.
I understand that some people feel if there's a bunch of threads about the same issue, the developers will take notice. But the truth is that if *one* thread on the issue balloons up with a high post count, they're more likely to respond (such has been demonstrated with the aforementioned AFK timer issue).
