how to level up mount?

not sure if this is posted elsewhere but i couldnt find it.

how do i level up my mount? everything is grey and my mount never gets any experience?
is there a quest i have to do?

yes there is a lvl 30 quest to get your choco to battle with you that is when it can start earning xp and lvl up. there is also a topic about lvling up your choco too.
