3D Vision 2
Hello and thank you for helping me!
I recently purchased a BenQ XL2720T with the NVIDIA 3D Vision 2 glasses, but I've encountered a... problem.
3D works instantly when I boot up games like Battlefield 3 or League of Legends, however when I start Final Fantasy 14: ARR, nothing happens and my IR switch doesn't light up like it does with the previous titles. Even when I have 3D set to always on in the NVIDIA control panel, FF14 refuses to go 3D.
I'm playing at 1920x1080 @ 120Hz Borderless Window with my GTX 590. Any ideas why 3D isn't automatically working, or even turning on for FF14?

First off, nice monitor you got there. I have the 24 " version. Second, I don't think SE ever thought about 3D in the game since it looks so bad in 3D. However, try setting the game to fullscreen if you haven't. Another option is to go into the nvidia drivers and set the 3D to be on all the time instead of being program controlled. The game might not even be registered as a 3D program.

Thanks. And yes, I've tried both of those, even at the same time, and still no luck. :<

I do not think that ARR is a 3D game, as there is no setting to turn it on or off in the menu itself, you are likely dealing with in Nvidia issue with not being able to convert the game itself into 3D. most likely due to the fact that game itself is new. just wait and see if Nvidia creates the drivers to turn it 3D or request help on the Nvidia page.

What drivers are you using? If NEWEST try a tad older ones. For some reason older work yet shadows are messed up and when using NEWEST drivers 326.80 3D wont even turn on. Like I said once you get it to work shadows are messed up and you cant turn them all off
