My character got deleted!!

I've been playing FFXIV:ARR since Beta phase 3 and the open beta and today after playing for about an hour I got booted from the server, with the message of being "Disconnected from the Login screen."

I tried to get back into the game, which took about 45 minutes, only to find that the character that I had been working on since open beta had been deleted.
Is there some problem with the NA/EU datacenters that would cause this? She was a 22 Arcanist (Mi'qote female) that was making excellent progress in the game and I would like to have her RESTORED!!

uhh....did you check to see if you were on the right server...?

Your Character is not deleted, it simple does not connect to the world you have your char in. Try log in and out several times. It happened a lot to me during peak hour.

Sometimes the characters don't show up, it's happened to me too. Just restart your client, and if that doesn't work just wait a few minutes.

Actually I can back her up on that. I'm a friend of her's on Ragnarok server.
I saw her log out (or after talking with her: got force logged out) and now her character is showing up as "(deleted)" on my Friend's List, Linkshell and Free Company.

I've assisted her with creating a ticket in Customer Support so hopefully SE can get her character back.
