Cutter's cry Chimera boss unobvious tactic

Greetings. I think, that in dungeon Cutter's cry last boss Chimera has underdone tactic. I know, that if color blue Chimera will do AoE around itself, if color purple- AoE will be far around, but how to know what color appeared and most of all- WHERE i must see this color: under the boss, above the boss. Where? I was lying dead in the centre of the boss location about 3-4 minutes, while another players tried to kill boss and I didn't see any sign of blue or purple color. I'm playing Monk class and attack only from behind or flank. Maybe the colors appears in front of Chimera? I think, that developers must make appearence of the colors much more clear and obvious- so any party member could see it. And second thought- to make another colours, because very often it is very hard to see the difference between purple and blue. Thank you

Pay attention to your screen? The boss emotes before it does the aoe (it flashes on your screen something like "Chimera's eyes flash blue..." or something to that effect).

I know it definitely shows up in the chat box though, it will say "blah blah BLUE" or "blah blah VIOLET". I don't think there's any visual indication on the boss itself of which it will use.

I fully agree- I dont have time to look into the chat or read "emote" on the screen. I must move very accurate, looking on the boss. So, I think, that the color must be shown by another way- not like some words on the screen

It flashes on your screen. The giant floating text. L2P.

Are there any other indications of AoE attacks? I have yet to find a party to run that dungeon (duty finder) and I would like to know ahead of time so I can be prepared for the worst. Also I heard chimera has and OHKO move!? Is that true?

Then you're going to die in this game to easily avoidable boss mechanics. Look I don't mean to be rude, and even I made a few mistakes myself dodging the aoes (monks do require a bit more concentration because of switching from flank/behind and such) but the "emote" flashes across the CENTER of your screen in big bold (white?) letters. You don't even have to read, all you have to do is look at the end; if it's blue get out asap -- if it's violet, ignore it.

That's the only warning you get, as far as I can remember, and it's really not that difficult. Ranged, on the other hand, have to not only dodge these aoe attacks, but kite a blue ball thing that inflicts paralyze (?) if they don't keep away from it (as well as some damage).

When Chimera blinks, preparing the AoE, this blinking can be purple or blue. For now it doesnt have any strongly marked color

There is a bug with the Warnings.

There are the 2 warnings "bla bla bla BLUE" or "bla bla bla PURPLE".
But with the French game you only have ONE warning for the 2 attacks. So you'll never know what to do.
I don't know if this bug concern other languages or other situations but you're maybe in this situation.

Did this boss earlier, wiped twice as we didn't know the mechanics and nobody had experience with it, it's incredibly simple once you know what to do considering it shoves the text in your face and you couldn't miss it if you tried.
"The dragon's head..." run in. "The ram's head..." run away, couldn't be any simpler. I can see the issue with the error in French though, might have to keep an eye on the mobs casting bar as it will show which one is being used.
Need to pay attention to more than just big red floor markings, it was announced that we would get less of these "don't stand here" indicators as time goes on. You should be able to get into a rhythm as MNK, you only need to shift two inches to move to and from flank and rear if the mob is being held still.
