Hardware Based Sound Issue

Hello, I seem to be having a sound issue with the game. It seems that after a short while the sound though my 5.1 speakers will stop and in order to get them working I need to restart the game client.

At first I thought it was my sound card so I hook up my on-board sound and the game sounds were fine. So I bought a new sound card (Creative Labs Sound Blaster Zx) and the issues still persisted with the that sound card. I even bought a new 5.1 speaker setup (Logitech Z506) and the problem remains.

This only occurs with the FF14 game and I have no sound issues outside of the game.

Is this a know issue with hardware based sound cards?
