Using a Character over 2 PS3's?

Right, my question is short and simple (I hope).. in that I was just wondering, if anyone knew the status of what's written in the title.

If you have created an account on a PS3 console, then load up the game on another console, with the same PSN, and the same SE accounts, would you still get the same characters?

Sorry, I know it probably sounds silly for me to ask, and as this is my first post on the forums, I'm not even sure if it says that my account is on PC. But I was just wondering for that, like for example if a friend's PS3 console ended up breaking, and they had to get a new one, would everything work the same, same as if someone went over to their friend's house, and the friend had a copy on PS3, would they be able to log on, and play with their same created account?

Should be fine, the character will be linked to the PSN account. Once you register the code for that character, if you log in to PSN on another PS3 there shouldn't be any issue.

Edit: Only thing is that like with PC version, you might lose all saved macros or preferences when using the 2nd PS3, I know on PC those are saved locally, I assume it's the same on ps3.

Yes, you can play your toon over any ps3 so long as it has you psn account & ffxiv on it I play over 3 different ps3's in different rooms in my house.
