I noticed there is a colour mark next to armour which I assume can be altered to people's preference, how do you go about altering it and getting the dyes needed to do it?

Found the dye shop, how do I go about adding it to my armour?

There is a quest at the docks past Horizon that unlocks this. This is based on my travels in the areas near Ul'dah, so there may be similar quests in the areas near Gridania and Limsa. I don't know what level you have to be exactly, but I was too low for it at 10, and was able to do it when I returned at 16.
Make sure you bring ONE Orange Juice to her!
That's all she wants. You can craft OJ from Culinarian or simply buy it at a shop.
You need level 15.
the colours are easy to use, you get a Dye action icon for your hot bar and can then use dye that you receive or guy to colour your items. the colours are very nice and tasteful and fit into the game very well. Enjoy.
I have a question related to dyes...
For the new crafted dyes, does anyone anywhere have pictures of them actually applied to clothing/armor?
Something along the lines of that picture of all of the other dyes that was circulating during beta perhaps?
I tried searching around but came up empty handed.
I'd like to know what those dyes look like since I'm pretty sure they'll cost a bit more than the NPC sold dyes since they're crafted.
what class do you need to be??
Anyone BTW knows the name of the dye which returns item to it's original state / color?
