[Suggestion] Hasty Hand for DoL

I'd like to clear a node, burn through my gathering points quickly for the sake of saving time in real life. So I'd like a hasty hand style ability for DoL so I can just grind through a few nodes and get the items that I want, then go on to do something else.

0 sp and still -10 gathering points per success. Would be great for DoL rank 50

I think this is not good idea since it may cause item's flood problem.

Why doesn't SE just have NPCs sell everything for 1 gil instead so I don't have to even bother walking to the nodes?!

Items wouldn't flood because fatigue system is still in place.

I think you missed the point. You would burn to fatigue so quickly that you wouldn't really be doing it for long. R50 don't care about SP, just the items, and DoH have hasty hand for just this very reason.. for when they don't want to bother because there is no SP, or SP isn't worth it.

I would love to see DoL get revamped, the mini-game is just so un-needed when every MMO has nodes where you just walk up, do your thing and bounce. This is another one of those things where the dev's got too cute instead of it being a simple process that every modern MMO has.

I know the masochist's love spending a lot of time grinding on their gathers but I just find the whole thing very tedious, un-needed, not fun which is the same reason why we're at where we're at trying to get the game fixed so people come back.

I would love to be able to walk up to a node, hit it and move onto the next spot.

And you think this would be faster, why? Right now I can get up to 8 digs from a node depending on my rank. You're proposing I only get one but make this a little easier to get. Running is the most annoying part about DoL for me.

Hasty hand would just destroy the economy, because then every gatherer will just go out and gather their daily supply of mats within about 10 minutes when otherwise they would have focussed on a different class with their time. There's a lot of people on here who just want everything handed to them and every item to be worthless so that they can just pick up what they need for almost free with no effort.

If you don't want to spend time getting mats, buy them. But don't expect them to be handed to you for no effort.
