Petition for FFXI throwback UI as an optional feature.

Maybe it is just nostalgia, but I heavily preferred FFXI's overly simplistic and text-based UI. It was very 'keyboard-only' friendly.

I understand everyone has a personal preference for input devices, some like controller, some like keyboard+mouse, some like mouse-only-ish...

I like keyboard only.

Is there anyone else who maybe feels the same?

I can't imagine that it would be difficult to develop a simplistic FFXI -style UI that concentrates only on the necessities, avoids icon-only based inventory, allows for drop-down text menus of abilities instead of action bar... etc.
