Is this still going to happen next week, the week after, next month?
Seriously, why can't something be done about this!?!

it will be fixed next year i promise
If you just play in the japan servers its wide open. No love for NA/EU.
New server upgrades this next few days. It's been said before.
Just like the last ff14 horrible launch. GG square.
It will fix itself. I promise. About the time Elder Scrolls Online releases...
Was finally able to log in for the first time in four days. Played for about 35 mins and was booted from the server. All I can say is awesome. Have all these people logged in for hrs and hrs on end doing absolutely nothing just saving their spot on the server so they wont get locked out. However people out leveling and progressing get removed.
Being on vacation i've been lucky enough to log in for a few hours at odd time. That said most of my gaming time is, and will be, in prime time. I've no doubt that the problem will be sorted, either with increased servers or with the inevitable subs drop after launch. My only gripe, being an unlucky ff14 v 1.0 customer, is that i won't probably be able to get much out of my 14 free days. I think those are foundamental for a lot of people to judge the product after its previous debacle. The market is changed a lot and to require a subscription you really have to put a lot on the table with so many free alternatives. Does a realm reborn has what it takes? I don't know, can't say if i can't play. I won't subscribe out of blind trust. I did that the previous time and got burned badly..
Yeah waiting in 1017 limbo is just great. I want to get PLD today.

I've only gotten to lvl 16 so far, but I do think the game itself is solid and fun.
I know these "growing pains" will be resolved eventually, I would just like to see a stronger response from Square Enix than, "Be patient, we're working on it."
