Hello there, I pre-ordered the Collectors Edition back on Aug 6th and when I woke up this morning, I noticed a 2nd charge from Digital River for the price of the game... whats going on here? Was I just charged again? I advise you all to check your CC/Bank accounts.

They charge u when u pre-order but its just to check your account. Shortly after they check your account they delete the first charge. If you go back and look im sure the Aug 6th one is gone.

Usually what will happen is you're charged the full price when you preorder so they can make sure your card is current and has the money available. Then a few days later they take the charge off, so you should look for that in your statement. Then when the game ships to you, they charge you the final price. Somewhere along the way they should have given you back the 53.22.

Did you check to see if that first charge was taken off after a few days? Digital river (at least in the us) puts a preauth for the full amount before releasing it. Takes your bank a few days to release the funds back to you. Then does a full charge once the item ships.
So yea. Check your bank account for the removal of the preauth. :P -

I had a hold on FFXIV when i bought the game during beta 4, then it went away. Nothing was taken out of my account, now i have a second hold in my account. (i hope i don't get charged twice for the game, that would suck.) But if after 30 days i only have one charge (may give it 45 days) then it's safe to say that it only charged once.
