Cross Platfrom Queing
Now I know that PC players and PS3 players are able to play together, but am I allow to friend a player that is on a different server. I could be wrong, but I thought I remember reading that there is cross server queing. Like in my case I want to run a dungeon with a friend who is on Goblin, but I'm on Leviathan. Is this possible or no? Thanks in advance guys/gals!

As far as I know, I don't think that is possible. I haven't read/heard anything about a cross server search system. Generally, the only way you can friend someone on another server is if you were on the same server when the request was sent.

As far as I can confirm, I had recently joined an instance where it was just me and one other person, dissapointed no one was joining, we left in hopes to party up. I left the instance, sent a party invite, but to no avail... Player does not exist. I sent a friend request... Player does not exist. Sent a tell... Player does not exist. So my only conclusion is, he was on a seperate server than I, so there was no way to contact him/her. So it is true the Duty Finder will join players from seperate servers together, but it will not let you get ahold of them after the instance is over, or left. Unless you get insanely lucky to join the person again in another instance.

There is a work-around method, but not 100% accuracy, and both servers need to be in same DF server group
Method 1, fresh party:
Player1 is a popular role (DD), Player2 is the least popular role (lets say tank).
1. Player 1 queues for a dungeon.
2. Player 1 waits for when only the player 2 role is left to fill. Duty finder shows: Tank 0/1, Healer 1/1, DPS 2/2.
3. Player 1 informs player 2 and player 2 jumps into queue.
4. If both players have matchmaking announcment, they are together.
Method 2, join in progress:
Player 1 is playing an instance where a player has left, and Player 2 plays the role that left.
1. Player 2 joins the dungeon with "join party in progress" enabled.
Method 2 is confirmed, although i used it to join FC mate that had someone left.
