Pet Macro Help?

I unlocked the Scholar.
But the main issue I have is; the pets using their long cooldown spells at dumb moments.

Setting them to passive mode or "Steady" solves it I think. The pet still casts its single target heal but it doesn't use the other abilities.

But every single time I actually trigger a pet ability; the pet will then set itself to the "Guard" position and automatically use any abilities it wants.


I was hoping there was a macro to solve this problem like..

/action "Whispering Dawn"
/Wait 2.5
/action Steady

something like that..

Then I got some errors and It said something about targeting.

So I tried.

/action "Whispering Dawn" <me>
/action "Whispering Dawn" <pet>


Anyway I don't really know what to do now, I was hoping for some assistance or something.
