Hello i just got FXIV and i have the problem of having to play in windows mode which means i can't see everything and end up having to move the screen all the time so i been trying over and over again to change it to full screen in the config but when i click ok it just gives me an error report and close's can anyone please help me
Do you get an error when you change any graphics setting, or just that particular one?
Was everytime i tried to change anything i'd get an error message when clicking on ok, my brother had a look at it and went an changed to windows text now it works but i don't understand why you have to do that though to change any of the other settings
As you found out, but just so others that may suffer the same issue is fully aware.
A possible fix for this situation is to:
Open the FFXIV config
Chose General
Go to Font Settings and enable "Use Windows system font" and click Ok
You can disable the Windows fonts afterwards, and the config should still work as intended.
When you enable the font, you also have to choose one at random.

Go to that Link and download that ltl program. With this you can play FF in windowed mode and do ctrl+alt+F and it will extend the window to full-screen, It actually stay in window mode but w/o border and you can still alt-tab out of the game.
