Bought Both Collector's Edition, which code to use?
I purchased two copies of the FINAL FANTASY XIV:ARR collector's edition. One of the copies is for the ps3, the other for PC. I'm not quite sure which code I should be using to register my game. I am able to play with/own both platforms. During early access, I had to use both of the given preorder codes in order to play. but after using both I realize that I prefer the pc version.
Today both copies of the Collector's Edition came. My question is which code should I be using to register under my account?
I heard that if you have the CE, if you use the pc, it will not register the CE information on an old account and that you had to make a new one. I had my SE account with the start of Beta Phase 2 for FFXIV:ARR and my character information is already on it, so making another account is not an option I would like to take. If I use the ps3 code will I be able to connect that to my old account? And if so, would I be able to play on pc as well? Or would I need to use the pc registration as well?
I just want to get my CE items on my already made account and be able to play the game, hopefully not need to use both codes or make an extra account for no reason.
*edit* I had sent this to support 2 days ago, and no response yet. I know this might have been discussed previously but I tried searching for the topic/answer and there wasn't anything too specific. I just wanted to know before I waste/ruin my codes. Also I would like to know so I can play today before high traffic starts up and doesn't allow me into the game.
