Extra !s on the mini-map

While doing the new side-quests added from the patch, I have come across 2 ! in Gridania mini-map which seem to be misplaced or not working.

The first one is northwest of the botanist guild at (3,3). It does not seem to be reachable at all right now.

The second one is in the backroom of the carpenter guild at (5,5) when playing the carpenter class. When reaching this ! point on the mini-map, a menu prompt appears asking do I wish to move from this area. Selecting yes results in nothing and selecting no also has no reaction. I am unsure if this one is a mistake or the result of a broken side-quest opened through the completion of another. Changing to any other class besides carpenter will make this ! disappear on the mini-map.

Steps:
1) Going near the botanist guild, you will see the ! on the mini-map passed the blocked off gate.

2) Going to the ! in the backroom of the carpenters' guild as a carpenter will open a prompt to change zones where nothing happens.

The only side-quest I have currently active is "The Dreamer's Gospel (Gridania)"

I am having the same issue with the botanist guild one.

As for the carpenter one, I think it might be the carpenter's r36 quest, where you indeed have to move to another area through a prompt menu. It worked for me (you are transported in another room in the back of the guild) but I did that one a few weeks ago, before the implementation of the first quests. Might be buggy now :\

As I stated in my report the only quest I have active is the egg quest for Gridania. I have completed the rank 36 carpenter storyline quest long ago and I am simply stating that by changing into a carpenter will make a ! appear there in the guild which has no purpose right now relating to any quest or starting a new one.

Thank you for your patience with the wait for a response to the report that you submitted. After thoroughly investigating both matters, the development team has deemed the first "!" found near the botanist guild to be a problem, and the matter is currently being inspected. Unfortunately, for the second "!" that you mentioned that was in the backroom of the carpenter guild, the development team stated that there was not enough specific information to test whether or not it is an extra "!" in the room. In order to avoid confusion in the future, please try to separate reports for different matters into their own threads. If you continue to experience trouble with this extra "!" in the carpenter guild, please submit another detailed report about this in a new thread, making sure to include the specific name of the quest that may be involved.
